No More Excuses supports the Campaign to End Fistula. Obstetric fistula is a devastating childbirth injury that leaves women incontinent, ashamed & often isolated from their communities. Preventable & treatable, it is a condition no woman should have to endure. A global Campaign to End Fistula, led by UNFPA, is helping to prevent & treat fistula in more than 35 countries in Africa, Asia & the Arab region. No More Excuses is committed to raising awareness of obstetric fistula in the UK, & to supporting fund-raising activity.

After a prolonged & agonizing labour, Zainab Abdu lost her baby & developed obstetric fistula. Two years later, her fistula was repaired during the "Fistula Fortnight", a UNFPA-supported initiative in Nigeria.
